Anyone familiar with Final Fantasy VI? If I knew a bit more about it, I might actually attempt pen this crossover, just as a drabble.

Note to favorite fic writers, please finish your fic. If you want to post just one chapter of something as a "test pilot," that is understandable. But if you post three excellent chapters, then abandon it, I get very unhappy.
If you must write an extremely long fic, write a series, where if life happens, interests get lost etc, the series can be ended just at that one point. However if you are writing a series, please do not leave it on a cliffhanger never to be solved. Make sure the series passes the "scissors," test, and the point where it is ended can truly be an end. |

Seems that for a few days there will be no good fic, then it all comes at me at once. For instance, today, I found three gems.
rat_hospital posted the latest chapter of The Incursion, one of the best Who crossovers I've come across. I will admit that I tend to be more of a fan of the New Series, but for crossover purposes, very often the classic series, and classic characters just work much better.
Over on fanfiction.net, ladylavinia posted Requiem For Magic, the latest installment of her Charmed alternate universe. It is hard to believe that this fic series has been continuing for six years, yet ladylavinia manages to keep it addictive. |

So many stories out there, so few I chose to read, and even fewer I chose to review. When I do take the time to review a story, it usually means that I have put a lot of time thought and effort into the review I give. I hope the authors are appreciative, and take the time to read over the review, and at least give me some form of feedback to let me know that they have received it. I always find it frustrating when I give an author long in depth review, and never hear back from them. Even more frustrating when I have given them long reviews over a period of time, which seem to go mostly ignored.
I always assume that fanfic is written for the feedback, why else write stories about shows? It is not like we are being paid or getting any kind of comission for the stories we are writing. |

| Tenth Kingdom Charmed Crossover Series |

I've started a series crossing over the mini series Tenth Kingdom, with the televsion show, Charmed.
First story in the series is The Witch Who Cried Wolf. Takes place after the fifth season Charmed episode "Happily Ever After," Phoebe runs into an old friend after paying the Dwarves bill.
Next in the series is What Lies Within Wolf learns a lesson after an incident on the full moon.
Third installment is In Warm Blood. Wolf get a surprise visit from Cole while at an underground market in the Nine Kingdoms. This trip brings back some unhappy memories for Cole. |
